How Service Works: Rapid Repairs & Upgrades!

We offer fast turnaround on Mac repairs and upgrades. Plus, we usually beat the competition's pricing! We're friendly and professional and have the most experienced technicians in Northern Nevada and we’re an Authorized Apple Service Provider.

As an authorized warranty service provider for Apple Inc., we provide warranty services on all Mac models. We also provide out of warranty service on Macs, iPods and iPhones, PCs and other electronics.

Service Guide

 

What happens when I bring my Mac in for service or an upgrade?

Next... Service is completed on a first come, first serve basis. We know how critical your Mac is to your business/life, so we will make every effort to keep the wait short! Need a substitute Mac while you wait? Ask about rentals, emergency service & fast pass appointments.

Diagnostics in 24 hours or less. As soon as it's your turn, your Mac will go onto our service bench for diagnostic evaluation. Then, we'll call you to explain the problem, provide a price quote, suggest any needed upgrades and to receive approval.

Parts. If your technical issue is software related, we'll go straight to repair, if not, we may need to wait for parts. Most parts arrive within 1 - 3 business days, but we will contact you if we expect further delay.

Completion. Our certified, highly skilled techs will replace parts, resolve software issues and run final diagnostics. As soon as your repair is complete, a service representative will prepare a report for you, and call you to let you know that your Mac is ready to come home or get back to work!

Mac-O-Rama is an authorized warranty service provider for Apple Inc. We provide warranty services on all Mac models:

• Apple warranty or AppleCare extended warranty
• Apple pays us directly, no out of pocket expense as long as it is a valid warranty repair

What's the service turnaround time?

Normally when you check your Mac in for service, diagnostics are completed within 24 hours and repairs are completed within 1 to 5 business days. If you need rush service or you're planning an upgrade or other maintenance service, we also have service appointments available, read on...

 

What if I need my Mac repair or upgrade completed more quickly?

Rush or Emergency Service

For mission critical Macs, we'll move you to the front of the line. We charge a rush fee of $99 to begin diagnostics immediately. We're also available after office hours, at a rate of $199 per hour. If you have a service plan with Mac-O-Rama, you may be eligible for a free upgrade to rush service, see your contract for details. Fast Pass Service Appointments

Our fast pass service allows you to have more control over when your computer service will take place. Make a fast pass appointment for Priority Service! This works great for planned upgrades and other maintenance services.

How the fast pass works:

1 Make an appointment. Call 626-7751 for a fast pass service appointment. Fast Pass appointments are offered at no additional charge. These appointments are available on a first come, first serve basis and usually need to be scheduled 3 to 5 days in advance.

2 Drop off your equipment. Bring your system to Mac-O-Rama between 10 AM and 11AM on the day of the fast pass appointment (or the night before).

3 Pick up the same day. Your service will usually be complete by the end of the day. We will call you as soon as your equipment is ready for pick-up.
